Michelle is a Co-Founder and Non-Advising Principal of The Millwood Mortgage Company and a Chartered Financial Planner, running her own practice, Michelle Germain Wealth.
Michelle began her career 30 years ago as a mortgage adviser with Barclays, and has spent the three decades since building a wealth of experience right across the financial services sector. She understands mortgages from the ground up, and she knows that a mortgage is only one part of a much bigger financial picture.
What sets Michelle apart is her passion for helping clients ‘Plan for the Longest Holiday of Their Life’. She does this by helping people put their financial ‘house’ in order through holistic, client-centred planning.

Alan is a Director and Mortgage & Protection Specialist at The Millwood Mortgage Company. He holds BSc and MSc degrees and the CeMAP mortgage qualification, and is a member of The London Institute of Banking & Finance.
Alan has spent the last 12 years working in financial services and recruitment, building an in-depth understanding of the key principles that underpin each sector. He believes strongly in empowering the people around him, so that together the team delivers a first-class service to every client.
Before that, Alan gained broad experience in the legal and claims sector. He worked closely with heads of department to assess and qualify legitimate employment, public liability and road traffic claims, which gave him a sharp eye for detail and a thorough, evidence-led approach to every case.
A disciplined focus on being meticulous, and a clear understanding of best practice in an ever-evolving sector.
That same discipline shapes how Alan works with clients today. He takes the time to understand each person’s circumstances, explains their mortgage and protection options clearly, and makes sure every recommendation is built on a careful, thorough review.

Lewis is the newest member of the Millwood team, joining us as a Trainee Mortgage Administrator.
Having come straight out of education, Lewis is a young, ambitious individual who is determined to get to grips with the financial services sector. He is eager to learn, and he brings real energy and enthusiasm to everything he does.
Excited to hit the ground running, and keen to learn his trade in the mortgage sector.
Lewis is super excited to be getting involved from day one. Working alongside the team, he is learning how every part of the mortgage process fits together, and helping to keep our clients’ applications moving smoothly from start to finish.
